Jira (API token): how to find your Cloud ID
The Jira (API token) connector asks for a Cloud ID when you connect. This is a unique ID Atlassian gives every Jira Cloud site. It isn't your site name or subdomain.
If you connect with the standard Jira connector (sign in with Atlassian), you don't need this: you pick your site from a list during authorization.
Option 1: from your browser (quickest)
Sign in to your Jira site.
Open this address, replacing
your-sitewith your site's subdomain:
https://your-site.atlassian.net/_edge/tenant_info
The page shows a short JSON response such as
{"cloudId":"a1b2c3d4-1234-5678-9abc-def012345678"}. Copy thecloudIdvalue.
Option 2: from Atlassian Administration
Go to admin.atlassian.com and open your site.
Look at the address bar. The Cloud ID is the part after
/s/, for examplehttps://admin.atlassian.com/s/a1b2c3d4-1234-5678-9abc-def012345678/....
Watch out: if the address contains /o/ instead, that's your Organization ID, not the Cloud ID, and the connection won't work with it.
How to tell you have the right value
A Cloud ID looks like a1b2c3d4-1234-5678-9abc-def012345678: 32 letters and numbers (0–9 and a–f only) in groups of 8-4-4-4-12, separated by dashes.
